Celebrity Life Coach Akema DayCelebrity Life Coach Akema Johnson-Day has been the best kept secret in the entertainment industry. Specializing in relationship counseling, conflict resolution, personal growth and professional development, this much sought-after motivational speaker recently appeared on “Let’s Ask America”, as well as conducted her signature workshop on VH1’s Basketball Wives of LA.

This self-titled “Passionologist” has created her own vocational theory called PPS, which means “Passion, Purpose and Success.” Akema has used PPS to inspire everyone from celebrities to members of her local community. “I have met hundreds of people who really had no idea what they wanted to do with their lives. They were striving for goals that were disconnected from their passion. That’s what inspired me to become a Life Coach. I wanted to help people discover their true passions”, she says.

Akema has always operated in her own passion. At an early age, she discovered her first love – music. As a singer, the roster of artists she’s performed with reads like an award show nominee list - India Arie, Deborah Cox, Aaliyah, Gangstarr, Morris Day and the Time, and the late Heavy D. With no shortage of talent, Akema easily transitioned from the musical stage to other areas of entertainment. This former television host for a local network is also a writer and producer. Currently, Akema is the producer and co-host of a reality television pilot which focuses on life balance, love and relationships.

Akema is a certified Life Coach and Intervention Specialist who also shares her gifts through her non-profit company called “The Seventh Seal Group”. Only months away from receiving her Ph.D. in Psychology, she is a member of the PTO at her son’s school and still manages to dedicate time to public service as a member of Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority Inc.
